One drawcord and it's a different dress. Soft blue cotton jacquard, cross-stitched in two tones — textured, quietly beautiful, the sort of thing people lean in to look at. Leave the tunnelled waist loose and it floats; pull it in and you've got shape without reaching for a belt. Now with a below-elbow sleeve, fluted at the cuff, so it works right through summer. Buttoned up it's a dress. Open over your denim it's the layer you'll live in.
