Soft hand-dyed viscose, light but substantial, embroidered from shoulder to hem  with flower medallions and fine scrollwork, tier after tier of it, finished with a deep ruffle at the sleeve and again at the hem. Velvet ties at the V-neck — the most flattering neckline there is. Oversized, so you pull it on and it floats — no fastening, no adjusting. It comes with its own slip, outfit sorted. Black tights and boots now, bare legs and sandals when it warms. The kind of dress people stop you about.
